Cindy was my close friend in my early teenage years. I have fond memories of dancing on the furniture at her house. She always made me smile and laugh. I'm so sad to learn of her passing. Such a beautiful spirit. She is with her brother Jay and friend John . I am so sad I was unable to be present at her funeral. Cindy you are missed I wish we had more time.

I was so shocked to look at the Globe obituaries yesterday and see the name of my precious friend Cindy Moore. Cyn was my best friend throughout our teenage years. Even though we didn't talk very much these last few years, she always remembered to send me a birthday card and a note each year. I will be so sad not to get a note this October.
With the blizzard coming today, I was remembering how in the blizzard of '78 she and my sister walked over in the snow down Route 9, which was closed, from "Mirabito Mansion" where she was living at the time. Cindy always had a nickname for everything. She invented a new language. I could listen to her "beek-out" for hours.
Cindy was beautiful, incredibly brave, loyal and a wonderful writer. Some of my happiest memories are the adventures we shared together. She was beloved by so many.
It gives me some solace to know her struggles are over. And I hope someday we are young again and can meet up on the big beach in the sky.
Love always,
Betsy Morse
