Alice M. Carteron age 85 of Neillsville WI passed away on Friday January 24, 2025 at House of the Dove in Marshfield, surrounded by loving family.
Services for Alice will be held on Saturday February 1st at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI, with visitation at 10am and services at 11am, officiated by Pastor Buki Fagbemi of the Dominion House of Prayer in Marshfield, WI. Burial will be at Neillsville Cemetery at a later date.
Alice was born on October 27, 1939 in Black River Falls, WI, to Lloyd Smith Sr. and Alice (Reddy) Smith. Alice completed two certificates post high school, one in cosmetology, and in later years, one in semi-truck driving.
Alice enjoyed gardening, bowling and pool leagues, and in younger years, ladies fast pitch soft ball. Alice enjoyed countless outings with her family, with one of her favorites being to the casino!
Alice is survived by her 5 children, Tamara Adams-Martens of Merrill, Pamella (Daniel) Kernan of Neillsville, Irey J Adams Jr. of Neillsville, Richard (Jo-Dee) Schultz of Mims, FL, and LeAnna (Wesley) Hills of Arpin. Alice is further survived by her 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, brother Tom McBride, and step siblings Bill Adams, Lois Charley, Martha and Sarah McBride, and many extended family and friends.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings, 3 step siblings, and her two grandsons Dylan and Cole Glebke.
Alice lived a rich and full life while she was here with us, and she will be dearly missed.
