Alice Holland Obituary

Alice Marie Holland passed away in her home on March 17, 2025 after a period of declining health. She was born in Hutchinson, Texas and made her home in many locations including Dallas, TX, Newnan, GA, Lake Junaluska, NC and Dillsboro, NC. She attended the University of Texas and held a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, Alpha Chi and the National College Honor Scholarship Society.

Alice is survived by a dear companion Daniel Johnson, sharing many memories and much love over many years. She is additionally survived by her sister, Donna Gail Robinson of Columbus, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmas Ray Holland and Florence Mae Romine.

Alice enjoyed listening to music, dancing her heart away and seeing what all art could enlighten her to see. She used her many talents to enjoy a career in the entertainment field as a consultant where she loved to help entertainment reach a new level of success. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Sylva First United Methodist Church on April 6, 2025 at 2:00pm.
