Carol Persons Obituary

Persons, Carol J. - of Montrose, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Mike Perez will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM under the auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star Vienna Chapter #283 of Clio.

Carol was born May 25, 1939, in Chesaning, Michigan to the late George and Marvel (Walker) Wright. She graduated from Chesaning HIgh School in 1957. Carol married Charles Persons on December 26, 1959. Carol was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Vienna Chapter #283 of Clio and the American Legion Harry Baker Post 367 Auxiliary. Carol was a longtime Girl Scout leader and was a 30 year breast cancer survivor.

Surviving are: Husband, Charles; Children: Charles F. of Montrose, Mark (Yaon) of CA; Mary of OH; Sister, Joyce Gibson; Grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Carol was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marie, and grandson Joey.
