Evelyn Bianchi Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn Reali Bianchi, 95, of Amsterdam, New York, left this earth to be with her husband on February 5, 2026. Born in Amsterdam, New York, on March 9, 1930, to the late Domenico and Marina (Rosatella) Reali. Evelyn grew up with her sisters and brothers, Eda DiCaprio (Amsterdam, NY), Eleanor Balestra (deceased), Joseph Reali (Oksana Dulysz) (Johnstown, NY) and John (Pam) Reali (Fond du Lac ,WI).

In 1956, at a Christmas Eve party, she met the love of her life, John Bianchi and they were married on September 8, 1957. The union was blessed with two children, Ann Bianchi (West Deptford, NJ), and John Bianchi (Albany, NY); and then two grandchildren, Adam Malkowicz (West Deptford, NJ) and Craig Malkowicz (Glendora, NJ).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam with The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. as celebrant. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass, beginning at 9a.m. at the church.

Burial will take place in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Office for Aging, 136 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
