Germaine Chatelain Obituary
Funeral Mass for Germaine M. Chatelain of Mansura will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Paul the Apostle Mausoleum in Mansura. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura beginning at 9:00am until 10:45am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, with Rosary Prayer at 10:00am.
Germaine M. Chatelain, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Oak Mont Estates in Mansura.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Mildred Bordelon of Mansura; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby Chatelain, Sr. & Maude Garrot Chatelain; siblings, Annabelle Chatelain, Narcille Chatelain, Sadie Fogle, Kathleen Laudermilk, Kirby Chatelain, Jr., Emanuel Chatelain, Byron Chatelain.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Germaine’s name to the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church flowers funds (P.O. Box 130, Mansura, LA 71350).
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350.
