Harry Wesley Wallen, age 78, of Nippa, KY, died Friday April 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born January 23, 1946 in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Oscar & Gladys Vaughn Wallen. Harry was a member of the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church, a retired salesman for Logan Corporation & an attendant for Preston Funeral Home for several years. On June 15, 1991 in Prestonsburg, KY, he married Geneva Sumpter Wallen who survives. Also surviving is 1 son; Doug Wallen of Zanesville, OH, 3 daughters; Monica (Freddy) Collins of Pikeville, KY, Leslie Wallen of Park City, KY & Tracy Stanley of Prestonsburg, KY, 3 step daughters; Betty (Ray) Witherspoon of Knoxville, TN, Sonja Andrews of River, KY & Marlena Sue (Todd) Gray of Georgia,1 sister; Monta Gail Newsome of Prestonsburg, KY, 7 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Friends may visit the Preston Funeral Home on Saturday April 6, 2024 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and after 10 A.M. until time of services on Sunday April 7, 2024. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Sunday April 7, 2024 in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with James Kelly Caudill officiating.
