Jack T. Johnson, age 88, of Jefferson City, passed away on March 27, 2025, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Jack was born on February 18, 1937, in Jefferson City to the late Gladys Thompson.
A proud graduate of Jefferson City High School (Class of 1955) and Jefferson City Junior College (Class of 1957), Jack was dedicated to both his family and his community. He served his country in the United States Army, where he earned the rank of Private. On June 11, 1961, he married the love of his life, Bethel R. Michael, in Jefferson City, Missouri.

He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he contributed his time and talents in various roles, including the Lutheran Laymen's League, Trinity Lutheran Men's Club, and as the Trinity Lutheran Archivist. Jack also took great pride in being a part of community organizations including Toastmasters, the Red Cross, and the Boy Scouts of America.
A man who found peace in the simple joys of life, Jack was an avid fisherman and cherished the time spent outdoors. Above all, Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, whose kindness and generosity were felt by all who knew him.

Johnson (Kim), both of Jefferson City; and his five cherished grandchildren: Sarah Johnson, Luke Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Adam Johnson, Jessi Johnson; his sisters-in-law, Susan Johnson and Lois Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
