Jamie Lynn Dickinson, 57, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at her home in Sheridan, WY.
There is a viewing at 12:00 P.M., and Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 25 Meade Creek Road, Sheridan, WY.
Jamie Lynn Dickinson (Pearce) was born on July 15, 1967, in Redwood City, California, to Rodney G. Pearce and Sandra L. Pearce (Berlin). Raised in Cameron Park, California, Jamie cherished her childhood, spending countless hours at Sams Town, a beloved local high school hangout. There, she forged meaningful friendships, met her husband, and celebrated her marriage to Terry S. Dickinson on July 19, 1986. Together, they created a home in Orangevale, California, where they nurtured their family, welcoming their daughter, Morgan R. Dickinson, on May 16, 1990.
Jamie approached life enthusiastically, passionate about cars, motorcycles, and anything with horsepower. Her love for children was evident in the many years she spent babysitting her nephews, nieces, and friends' children. Following her separation from Terry in 2004, Jamie continued to share her nurturing spirit as a nanny to her sister, Jennifer Robinson's children, Kylie and Pearce, from infancy until they began their elementary schooling.
In her quest for personal growth, Jamie attended Sierra College to study accounting and technology to improve her computer skills. While she did not complete her degree, the lessons she learned through her studies provided her with valuable skills for her future career. In the summer of 2012, she received a job offer from Bruce Taylor, inviting her to help run his office in Killdeer, North Dakota. Although leaving the familiarity of California was daunting, the opportunity to learn and explore new horizons filled her with excitement.
Upon her arrival in North Dakota, Bruce quickly became more than just an employer; he inspired Jamie with his incredible work ethic, gradually forging a deep bond between them. She fell in love with him, and their relationship blossomed into a beautiful partnership. The arrival of her granddaughter, Rylee Rae Vogelgesang, on October 12, 2018, brought Jamie immense joy. Their nightly video calls filled her heart with laughter and love, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
In October 2020, Jamie's mother, Sandra, moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, to be closer to her daughter. Together, they found solace and joy in the beautiful surroundings along Meade Creek Road, making new memories that strengthened their bond. Jamie faced various health challenges in her life, and it is with profound sorrow that we acknowledge her passing on February 3, 2025.
She leaves behind her loving partner, Bruce Taylor; her devoted mother, Sandra Berlin; her supportive stepmother, Ronda Pearce; her sister, Jennifer Robinson; her adoring daughter, Morgan Dickinson; her beloved granddaughter, Rylee Vogelgesang; and Ainsley Marlene Mackey, expected in May 2025. Her family includes her niece, Kylie Robinson, her nephew, Pearce Robinson, and many more nieces and nephews from her ex-husband's side, who still held her dear. Jamie will be remembered for her boundless love and selfless nature. She always put the needs of others before her own. Her infectious laughter could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
As we say goodbye, we will cherish the memories we shared with Jamie. She will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we send our heartfelt wishes that she finds peace in the eternal embrace of love.
As she would end her video chats with Rylee, we will do the same: "10-4 until next time."
