Funeral Mass for Janette “Nenan” Voinche of Mansura will begin at 11:00am on Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Mansura with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Paul Mausoleum.
Janette M. Voinche, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Avoyelles Hospital.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura (Chad) Helminger of Mansura; grandsons, Nicholas (Michelle) Helminger of Carencro and Alex Helminger of Mansura; great-grandchildren: Sophie Helminger and Reed Helminger. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Mark Voinche, Wayne Michel, David Mitchell, Michael Mitchel, Nicolas Helminger, and Alex Helminger. Honorary pallbearer Jay Helminger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Voinche; parents, Leonard Michel and Anna St. Romain Michel; twin sister, Jane Mayeaux; brothers, Roland Mitchel and Henry Mitchell.
Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 10:45am on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Rosary prayer service will begin at 10:00am.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hessmer Nursing Home and Lagniappe Home Care for their compassionate care of Janette.
