Lee Halverson passed away Monday, February 24, 2025.

Lee was born to George and Ragna Halverson November 1, 1947. He is a graduate of Wisconsin Dells high school. A devoted husband and father, proud veteran, and dedicated public servant, Lee touched countless lives with his kindness, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Lee married the love of his life, Linda Fisher, on September 11, 1971. Their 54 years of marriage were filled with love, laughter, and a deep bond that grew stronger with time. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and shared passions.

A proud Vietnam veteran, Lee served his country with honor before continuing his service as a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper. His commitment to protecting and serving others extended beyond his career, as he was also an active member of the Marine Corps League.

In retirement, Lee pursued his love of woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces with patience and skill. He found joy in his garden, nurturing life with the same dedication he showed in all aspects of his life. His faith was a guiding light, and he cherished his church community. But above all, he treasured the time spent with Linda, the love of his life.

Lee’s legacy of service, craftsmanship, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters Elaine, Marjorie, Helen, and Diane, mother-in-law, Brownie Zinke ( Gordon) , father-in-law, Stan Fisher, brother-in-law, Bob Kloehn and Jim Fisher.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Michelle Halverson ( Gene Sigmon) of Statesville ; sister-in-law, Mary Keckler of Sarasota, Fl; Brother-in-law, Ron Behnke, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of life with full military honors will be held at 11 AM,  Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church.
