Neil Jensen Obituary

Neil Richard Jensen was born on August 19, 1952 to Fred and Ellen (Magnussen) Jensen in Audubon, Iowa. He passed peacefully with his daughter and granddaughter by his side on February 19th, 2026 in Pryor, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years and 6 months.

Neil was a hard worker. He worked in construction most of his life before retiring from Sherwood Construction. He was always engineering and creating, he loved machining in his workshop. From 3D printing to building guns, he was always working on something.

When he wasn't working on a project, he enjoyed watching OU football and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. And he loved a good T-bone steak.

Above all, Neil was a devoted husband and father. He married the love of his life, Betty Stuart and they enjoyed many years together traveling and enjoying life. He also enjoyed family functions and spending time with his children and grandchildren. They will miss him greatly.

Neil is survived by two daughters, Wendy Jensen-Bagley and husband Scott Bagely and Carolyn (Charlie) Weatherly and husband Randy Dawson; one son, Nick Jensen and wife Tiffany Jensen; three step children; grandchildren, Kristina Bagley, Jared Bagley, Tori Jenkins, Brody Jenkins, Remington Jensen, Race Jensen; great grandchildren, Naomi Remer, Lilah Remer and Arlo Jenkins; sister, Charlotte Anderson; brother-in-law, Ron Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Jensen; his mother and stepfather, Ellen and Harvey Johnson; his wife and love of his life, Betty; one sister, Betty Thielen and one brother, Dave Jensen.
