Orlando Fineday Obituary

Orlando Thomas Fineday, Sr., 42, of McGregor, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his home. He was born August 15, 1983 in St. Paul to Wallae Falls and Cathi Fineday. Orlando was united in marriage to Julie Skinaway on January 15, 2023 in McGregor. He enjoyed playing his Nintendo Switch, working on cars, grilling and making homemade soup, playing Bingo, binge watching shows and movies with his wife, Julie and especially spending time with his family.

Orlando is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Everleigh Fineday; sister, Yvonne Fineday; special uncle, Mike; grandma, Katherine Fineday.

Orlando is survived by his wife Julie Skinaway-Fineday of McGregor; children, Fabian Skinaway-Berger of Bemidji, Orlando Johnson-Fineday, Jr. of Walker, Brandon Rook of Minneapolis, Joaquin Skinaway-Fineday of McGregor, Orlando Fineday, Jr. of McGregor and Emma Fineday of McGregor; granddaughter, Josette Skinaway; sister, Samantha Fineday of Cass Lake.

The wake will be held Saturday, February 21, beginning at Dusk at the East Lake Ceremonial Building, 20696 367th Lane, McGregor and will continue until Tribal Rites on Sunday, February 22 at 10 AM.
