Taylie Joe Sampson Obituary
Funeral service for Taylie Joe Sampson of Mansura will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Upper Room Church in Hessmer.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved baby, Tayliejoe Sampson, who was born and gained her wings on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Opelousas General Hospital.
Though we did not have the chance to hold you in our arms, we will forever carry you in our hearts. Tayliejoe was named after her great-grandmother, Joanna Guillot and grandmother, Joanna Sampson who both go by “Joe”.
Those left to mourn her are her parents, Lacie Hodapp and Thaddeus Sampson; her siblings, Haven Smith, Zaydan Hodapp, Teira Prier, and Triniti Sampson; maternal grandmother, Stephanie Roberts (Garth); maternal grandfather, Andrew Bordelon (Lisa); paternal grandmother, Joanna Sampson. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Deranda Bordelon (Jason), Hannah Gauthier (Austin), Tanner Tull (Kaila), Jessica Deschores, and Lawrence Sampson.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Andrew “Chris” Bordelon.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350.
