Tommy Taylor Obituary
Tommy graduated from Greenville High School before entering the University of Mississippi where he played football for Ole Miss from 1955-1958. While at Ole Miss, he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the M Club. He retired from Allstate Insurance after a 34 year career in sales management.
Tommy was a member of Christ United Church. He loved going to Bible class and church service.
Tommy enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and Ole Miss sports.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy S. Taylor, parents Charles and Ethel Taylor and brother Gary Taylor.
He is survived by son, Tommy Jr (Elizabeth) of Collierville TN; daughter, Lynn Koenen (Carl) of Hot Springs Village AR; grandchildren, Caroline Gallagher (Jimmy), Frank Taylor; and great grandson, Tommy Gallagher. Brothers, Charles C Taylor Jr and John Tate Taylor; sister, Mary Michaels; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Church or the charity of your choice.

Lynn and Tommy, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad he meant more to me than you can ever imagine. He practically raised me in my 20's when I worked for him those 10 years at Allstate, he was the best manager/friend I could have ever asked for! As strange as this is going to sound I woke up this morning for some strange reason with him on my mind and a very uneasy feeling, so much so I searched Google for a obituary just to make sure he was still ok and saw he had passed away a month ago. This is way beyond coincidence, I think we all are connected spiritually to people in our past and present lives that we care about! Anyway you two take care and again I'm so sorry for your loss.
