William “Bill” John Essig, 64, of White Oak, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was born on April 23, 1960, to the late Dennis Billy Essig and Mary Carol Eckes Essig. Bill loved his family, laughter, Nascar, fishing, hot rods and anything automotive related. He was known for his big bear hugs, which his family will truly miss. He proudly served in the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Kelly Hinze.
He is survived by his son: Shawn (Madyson) Essig; daughter: Jamie Lynn Fredrickson; grandson: Jace Fredrickson; granddaughter: Kylie Vermillion; sister: Robin (Scott) Balliet; and nephews and nieces: Kris, Kassandra, and Brandon.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local VFW chapter or local Humane Society.
