Margaret Tolan Obituary
Margaret Marie Armstrong was born in Redford on April 12, 1932, to the late James and Blanche (Howay) Armstrong and married Russell Tolan on September 22, 1951. Together they engaged in farming. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2007. She was an active member of Ossineke United Methodist Church and enjoyed water painting.
Surviving are her two children, Russell (Janet) Tolan, Ruth (Neal) Zielaskowski; 3 grandchildren, David (Grechen) Tolan, Dr. Laurie (Chuck) Hein, Amy (Jason) Budnick; 5 great grandchildren, Emma Tolan, Colyn Hansen, Liliana Tolan, Gabriella Tolan, Vanessa Tolan; sister-in-law, Evelyn Tolan; several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tolan was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Polk.
Visitation will take place at the Ossineke United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Reeve Segrest officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
