Karen Regina Gill, 73, passed away February 4, 2025. She was born July 18, 1951, as Karen Regina Scoggins and of the Christian faith. Karen was a genuine dog lover, loved going to the beach, and loved people. She enjoyed her jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gill; parents, Bill Scoggins and Betty Stoker; sisters, Wanda Hart and Alexis Smith and brother, Bill Scoggins, II.
Survived by her son, Robert (Amy) Hill, II; daughter, Roxanne (Gene) Fowlkes; grandchildren, Heath Schrimpsher, Amanda Schrimpsher, Courtney Schrimpsher, Emily Johnson and Grace (Angel) Vargas; great-grandchildren, Rain Vargas, Dakota Schrimpsher, Alec Vargas, Sage Vargas, Jude Vargas, Ryleigh Schrimpsher, Abigail Schrimpsher, Natalie Greene, Kari Webb, Remington Schrimpsher and Nehemiah Schrimpsher; her friend till the end, Randy Dickson.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
A celebration of life memorial service will be announced later.
