Charlotte Laubi Obituary

Charlotte (Batty) Laubi, age 96 of Plainville, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024 at Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. She was the daughter of the late Willem E.G. and Fanny Mae (Rowe) Batty and the wife of the late Arthur Laubi, Jr.

Charlotte was born on July 21, 1928 in New Bedford MA. Following her graduation from New Bedford High School, she began a lifelong career as a bookkeeper ending with 35 years at Larson Tool and Stamping in Attleboro. Charlotte will be lovingly remembered for her long life dedicated to service. She was a long-time member and a Past Matron of O.E.S. Angle Stone Chapter in North Attleboro. During the last 50 years she served the LDS Church in many capacities, both in Foxborough and at the regional Level. Although Charlotte had no children she was a beloved mother figure and mentor to many, both young and old.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Laubi, Jr. Loving sister of the late Isabelle Millotte, Harry Batty, Noris Batty, William Batty, Burt Batty and Fanny Mae Walmsley. As the last member of her generation, Charlotte is survived by several nieces and nephews scattered throughout the country and her long-time friend, Barbara Steinhoff.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, November 27 from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint, 91 Jordan Road in Franklin. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM at the Church. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 565 Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro.
