Alex Fentress Obituary
June 25, 2025
KINGSPORT - Alex Lemar Fentress, 36, of Kingsport went to be with the lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born in Ft. Riley, Kansas and served his country in the U.S Army. Alex enjoyed traveling, which he did through his work as a Fluid Engineer and Commercial Diver. He enjoyed evenings with friends and family with a beer by a campfire. Alex was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Terri Fentress; children, Riley, Bentley, Elijah, Isaiah, Sarah, Amira, and Olivia; parents, Ron and Tammie Fentress; sisters, Jolita Arney and Rachel Fentress; brothers, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Zachary Fentress; special brother, Jeremy Laroche; along with a host of friends and extended family.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport with Pastor Josh McKinney officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive by 5:50pm.
A military graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carter-Trent Funeral Home.
