Amita and my mom Shirley Sanders became great friends in Raleigh. They loved to shop, had fun at the beach on their ladies beach weekends. Shirley will always cherish those special memories and is heartbroken at the loss of her friend. Amita had a great sense of humor and we will miss her! Wishing Traci and the family our deepest condolences. Sincerely, Kim Shoemaker-Freed (Shirley´s oldest daughter).
