Anna Sturgill September 1, 1964- June 3, 2024
ROGERSVILLE - Anna Sturgill, age 62, of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bristol, TN. Anna was born to Eliza (Gordon) and Charles Sturgill on September 1, 1961 in Rogersville, TN. Anna was saved at Maple Hill Church in Poor Valley. Anna graduated Rogersville High School in 1979. She went on to retire from Anchor Brush in Morristown and Cooper Standard in Phipps Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliza and Charles Sturgill; brother, Dale Sturgill; and sister, Terry Taylor.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Hamilton; four nephews, Charles (Christy) Hamilton, Bob (Jennifer) Taylor, James (Charity) Taylor, and Troy Hamilton; three nieces, Tina Pleasant, Aimee (Gary) Mawk, and Melissa Simpson; and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Fuzz Bradley officiating. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am June 6, 2024 in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www.christiansells.com.
