Betty Ruth Roberts Eads

JOHNSON CITY - Betty Ruth Roberts Eads, age 85, of Johnson City, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Saturday, August 30, 2025, while she was surrounded by her family. She was born in Scott County, Virginia to the late Charlie Jack Roberts and Georgia Catron Roberts. Betty lived most of her life in Gray.

Betty retired from Citi Corp where she served as a manager in the accounting department. She was a very hard-working, and disciplined woman during her professional career as well as in every area of her life.

She was a faithful and active member of Rock Heritage Baptist Church. Betty loved her church and her church family.

Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, fishing, and beach trips.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Seal; great granddaughter, Kelsey Weems; two spouses: Ott Edwards and Garry Eads; brother, Charlie Roberts; sister, Frances Kramer; son-in-law, Larry Hodge.

Betty leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, her three children: Martin Million, Kim Hodge, and Christa Feathers (Tracy); grandchildren: Amber Brown, Austin Seal, Taylor Crowe, Whitney Evely, Aaron Hodge, Jessi Lewis, Chase Feathers, Cassie Johnson, Courtney Million, and Joni Million; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Jennings (Stuart); special friend, Ginie Forester; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 05, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Rock Heritage Baptist Church. Ben Evely and Trevor Knight will officiate at the 11:00 a.m. memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Betty to: The Roseller Abalin Family, Independent Baptist Mission for Asians, 103 Masonic Park Road/P.O. Box 912, Marietta, OH 45750.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all those who cared for Betty in her final days.
