CHURCH HILL - Betty Bobrosky Hill, 87, of Church Hill, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, surrounded by loving family after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Betty was born July 20, 1937 in Calvin, Virginia, the daughter of John and Mary Bobrosky.

Betty was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Kingsport, TN.

Betty was preceding in death by her parents, John and Mary (Wolfinger) Bobrosky, Sr.; brothers, Robert, Johnny, Paul, Joe, and Steve Bobrosky; sisters, Lena Bobrosky, Mary Alice Bobrosky, Otella Suominem, Wilma Carter, Elizabeth Neil, Katherine Leeper and Sophia Duff; nieces and nephews.

Remaining to cherish Betty's memory are her husband, Ben; her daughter, Rhonda Hill; her sons, David Hill (Tracie), and Joey Hill (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Kasey Lee (Shields), Bryant Hill, Drew Hill, Olivia Hill, Ryan Hill, Maddux Hill, Lily Frazier, Katie Jenkins, Logan Ireson, and great-grandchildren, Annabel, Molly, Maisy, Olivia; brothers, Bill Bobrosky (Brenda), Mac Bobrosky (Cora) and several nieces, nephews.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and "Nana". Her greatest joy was spending time with her husband of 64 years, Ben, their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, cooking for her family, and watching her grandchildren pursue their interests. She was loved by everyone who met her. She will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

The family will share in a private ceremony and host a Celebration of Life event at First United Methodist Church in Surgoinsville to be announced at a later date. The family will receive friends anytime at the Hill residence in Church Hill.

The Hill family wishes to thank The Ballad Cancer at Indian Path Care Team and Amedisys Hospice for their care and support during Betty's illness, especially, Sara, Megan, Teresa, Bobby, and Joanne.

I remember going to the campground and seeing her when I was little and her friend green tomatoes were the first I had ever eaten she was a beautiful sweet soul and she will be missed

I have such fond memories of all the times I spent with Betty and her family. I think of all of them often and remember the good times we had spending time together. It´s been a long time since I have seen them, but I think of them so often.
