SCOTT COUNTY, VA - On Feb 2, 2024 Beulah Faye Cox Fields of Stanleytown Community, Scott County, Virginia went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, mother, and son. Faye was born on May 01, 1931 to Robert James Cox and Virginia Cecil Corder Cox. In 1950 she married the love of her life Glenn Carson Fields who predeceased her in 1996. She is also predeceased by her parents and son Timothy Fields.
Faye is survived by her sons Myron (Carolyn) Fields, Mark (Marilyn) Fields, Terry Fields and daughter-in-law Sheila Fields. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren Kristin (Brandon) Moye, Emily Kaslin Fields, Brooke "Alex" Fields, and Madison Fields. Also, great-grandchildren Clementine Moye and Georgia Moye.
Faye was a member of Stanleytown Community Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She excelled at gathering them around and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was a substitute teacher at Rye Cove Schools for several years and always enjoyed chatting with former students. She spent many hours collecting, recording and sharing her and Glenn's family history.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Larry Stallard officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Holston View Cemetery. Terry Fields, Myron Fields, Mark Fields, Robert Bouton, Roger Carter, and Tracy Carter will be serving as pallbearers.

We were blessed to know the Fields family. Mrs Fields exemplified the qualities of a wonderful Christian soul. She will be missed by those of us who were fortunate to know her. May God grant peace and comfort to this sweet family at this time and in the days to come-Jim and Jamie Kelly

She was always so pleasant and kind and had the sweetest smile ,which was always present. She was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. My prayers will follow all of her family.
