KINGSPORT - Billie Jean Kite, 92, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 1, 2023.
She was born December 25, 1930, in Akron, Ohio to the late J.W. and Beatrice Spears Blevins.
Billie was a loving, kind, and generous Christian lady who attended Glen Alpine United Methodist Church and Baileyton United Methodist Church.
She worked as a dental hygienist with Dr. Frank Buckles, Jr. for several years and enjoyed spending time working in her flower garden.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, James Kite; son, Don Kite; brother, James W. Blevins.
Those left to cherish Billie's memory are her daughter, Billie Kay Armstrong (Kyle); grandchildren, Billy Archer (Melissa), Mary Ball (Eddie), Whitney Ledbetter (Edward), and David Kite (Radonna); nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joan Knotts; sister-in-law, Irene Peck; nephew, Charlie Blevins.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Everlasting Life. Rev. Randall Wright will officiate. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
