I have fond memories of Pastor Bob Lynch.
My wedding, May 15, 1965, was the first wedding Reverend Lynch performed upon his coming to First Baptist, Gate City.

It is impossible not to remember Pastor Bob's influence in my life when he was pastor at Cedar Grove Baptist in Maryville, TN. My late husband Jeff, my son Dylan, and I all very much loved and appreciated his sense of humor, his openness to fresh ways of doing things, and most of all, his love and care for his church family. He was a people person, most definitely. Pastor Bob was there for me during one of the greatest losses and hardest times of my life. I'm thankful to have known him and I'm thankful that he is with his beloved Billie once again and all those folks at Cedar Grove who went on before him.

We were blessed at Cedar Grove to have Pastor Bob as our shepherd to lead us safely through our deepest valley of grief. He will be forever missed.
