Bobby Phillips Obituary
KINGSPORT - Bobby Phillips, 88, of Kingsport, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 13, 2023. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and had retired from AFG Glass. He enjoyed working on small engines and helping his brother Jim on the farm after he had retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Phillips; son, Allen Phillips; parents, Mayfield and Mazel Phillips; and brother, Pat Phillips.
Bobby is survived by his son, Kenny Phillips; sister, Sue Crawford; brother, Jimmy Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Services will follow at 7pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Preston Patrick officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Williams and Dale Phillips.
