GATE CITY, VA - Brenda Kay (Griffin) Berry 74, Gate City, VA passed away, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at NOVA Health and Rehab, Weber City, VA.

Brenda was born in Kingsport, TN on March 3, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Stewart and Edith Griffin.

In addition to her parents, her grandson, Joshua Wayne Berry, sisters, Wilma Jean Jones and Janice Ray Qualls, and brothers, Billy Joe Griffin and Larry Wayne Griffin preceded her in death.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Gale Berry, son Robert Wayne Berry, grandchildren, Samantha Gail (Matt) Stallard and Aaron Ray (Ashley) Berry, great grandchildren, Hunter, Harper, Abel, Carson, Joleigh, Mia, Zayla, and Waverly, sisters, Shirley McDavid and Cathy Gibson, brothers, Herman (Mary) Griffin and Jerry D. (Myrtle) Griffin, sister-in-law, Diane Griffin, special best friends, Gerri Peters and Vera Zapcic, along with several nieces and nephew.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2024, at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Kerns officiating. Kaylor's Chapel Choir will provide the music.

The burial will follow at the Berry Cemetery on Big Ridge Road, Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Dale Berry and Ron Zapcic will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Gale and Family,
Edgar and I are saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. She was such a wonderfully sweet person and friend, always smiling and friendly. So, many good memories of our times together before and after our marriages, we always had such a good time together. She will be missed, but she will always be in our hearts. Please accept our condolences, prayers, and love during this hard time.
