KINGSPORT - Carolyn Sue Hicks went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2024, at The Blake in Kingsport, TN.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, TN 37617.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes is honored to serve the family of Carolyn Sue Hicks.

Brian, Karen, and Sheila, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I have fond memories of your parents at the ball field, vacation at ocean isle beach, cutting firewood at our farm, and camping out at Eastman Cabins. Your mom always had some Little Debbie oatmeal creme pies to eat. It was a blessing to know them. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our families spent many fun hours together. Starting with cub scouts , school activists and vacationing together. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family. You were very lucky to have just loving parents and grandmother. Jimmy would have been a wonderful grandfather. May your fond memories make it possible to put the bad ones behind you.
