WEBER CITY, VA – Charles Edward "Ed" Catron, 90, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Ed was born on June 30, 1933 in Rose Hill, VA. He was retired from the DMV in Abingdon, VA. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served our country in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Ed was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Weber City and attended Sally's Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy L. Catron; parents, Cull Catron and Alberta Ritchie Catron.
Surviving are his daughters, Pamela Richardson and husband Tommy, Linda Metcalfe, Amber Throssell and husband Colin, and Sally Melton and husband Rick; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Dave Catron, Frank Catron and Kenny Catron.
