January 17, 2025

KINGSPORT - Charles E. Hubbard, age 80, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born on March 15, 1944 to the late Harvey and AnnaLee Hubbard, Charles spent his entire life in Kingsport. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1968 – 1970.

Charles was an electrician by trade. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and served two terms as a Sullivan County Constable.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Neal and AnnaLee Harless Hubbard; sister, Ruth Hubbard Cheek; sister-in-law, Brenda Hubbard; and brother-in-law, Tommy Hamilton.

Charles is survived by is his wife of 58 years, Gloria Hubbard; siblings, Betty Hamilton, Harvey Neal Hubbard (Bo), Johnny Hubbard (Fran), and Pat Hubbard Light (Richard); and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Depews Chapel cemetery with Pastor Charles Roberts officiating. Military honors to be performed by The American Legion 3/265.
