BIG STONE GAP, VA - Charles Edward "Eddie" Toney, 75, of Big Stone Gap, VA, entered his eternal resting home Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN.
Eddie leaves behind his loving wife Donna of 52 years of marriage, son Charles Toney II and wife Heather, grandchildren Savannah and Aiden, all of Christiansburg, VA.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Toney and mother Edith, brothers Fred, Frank, Joe Jr., and sister Shirley Noonan. Siblings left to cherish his memory are brothers David, John, Andy and sisters Mary Freeman and Bernice Schnell along with many other nieces and nephews.
Eddie loved to treasure hunt, read, share stories, and spend time spoiling his "little sweetheart" Savannah and "tractor boy" Aiden.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday, April 1 at Gilliam Funeral home in Big Stone Gap, VA, with a graveside service following at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
