Charlotte Linderman White March 6, 1943- April 22, 2024

DECATUR, AL - Charlotte Linderman White, age 81, of Decatur, AL passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 at The Waters in Kingsport, TN. She is survived by one daughter & son in law: Leanne & Dan Jeffers of Johnson City, TN; one son & daughter in law: Perry & Stacy White of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren: John Taliaferro, Sam Taliaferro of Johnson City, TN, Isaac Jeffers and Evie Jeffers of Greeneville, TN, Harrison White, Davis White, and Rachel White of Birmingham, AL; sister & brother in law: Faye & Don "Duck" Hamilton of Decatur, AL; brother & sister in law: David & Becky Linderman of Decatur, AL; sister in law: Janet King of Danville, AL. She was married to the late George White and was the daughter of the late Carl & Laverne Linderman. Mrs. White was retired from Jimmy Smith Jewelers in Decatur. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, CNAs and staff of The Waters and Smokey Mountain Hospice for their special care over the last several months. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte's memory can be made to Smokey Mountain Hospice in Kingsport, TN or to the George and Charlotte White Fund in Parkinson's Research at UAB (UAB Gift Records, AB 1230, 1720 2nd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35294). The family will receive friends Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur, Alabama. The funeral service will follow visitation at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Barry Sempsrott officiating. Graveside Services will be Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Roselawn Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
