Cora Diane Gragg Lane April 30, 2024
KINGSPORT - Diane "Peanut" Lane, 61 of Kingsport, was called home Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024 following a brief illness. Diane was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, J. D. and Shirley Marie Hickman Gragg; daughter, Robin Olterman; and brother, Randall.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Pat Lane; daughter, Brittany Lane; five grandchildren; four sisters, Martha Mitchell, Tinia Lane, Vickie Salisbury and Nellie Olterman; two brothers, Charlie Gragg and Old Man Gragg; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00am at Roller Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
