Craig Alan Wright August 15, 1959- April 24, 2024
KINGSPORT - Craig Alan Wright, 64, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, after a period of declining health.
He was born in Kingsport, August 15, 1959, and spent most of his life in Mt. Carmel, TN.
Craig graduated from Church Hill High in 1977. He worked at Church Hill Water Department, Kroger's, and Food City in Kingsport.
Craig was a Christian and a member of Crossroads Global Methodist Church and loved to attend church at First Baptist, Church Hill, until his health no longer permitted.
He was a very kind and sweet man and loved to chat with old friends at Food City. Craig enjoyed camping, music, being outdoors and children.
He will be forever in our hearts, and we know we'll see him again in Heaven. It's not good-bye but see you later, Craig.
Craig was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, L.E. and Beulah Brown; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Dorothy Wright; his parents, Wayne and Emma Wright; cousin, Teresa McCamis; and several aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish Craig's memory are his sister and caregiver, Gwen Ellis (Doug); his brother, Rick Wright (Denise); nieces and nephews, Brian Ellis (April), Andrea King, Jessica Carlton, Cory Wright (Payton); and several great nieces and nephews. Known by many, loved by all.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, Church Hill, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024.
