Like so many before and after me, he was not one of My most beloved teachers, but also a friend to me, always offering talks & sharing his wisdom! He was one of the only FEW classes I normally wouldn't miss (well, unless of course if it was on a Friday (GC lake day) ! This man helped my report card grades,ALOT, bc he believed in me !
I pray for his wife, family students & Friends...and a special shout out to his son TIM...... iam thinking about you my friend!

Nancy, Katie, Tim and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Dan was such a pleasure to be around. I loved talking to him. I believe he would laugh at about anything. Gary always thought a lot of Dan too. He was always sure to tell me every time he seen Dan at one of the gun shows. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. I love you and will say a prayer for you and the family.

Nancy, you and your family are in our prayers. Dan was such a special person and I will miss talking with him. He always brightened my day when we talked. If you need me, I'm just a phone call away.

Praying for Mr Buchtman's family and friends.
Had him as my Science teacher in 8th grade, even though he paddled me for my grades, he was a good man and I really liked him. Needless to say, my Science grades went up because of him, lol. He really did care about his students.
RIP MR BUCHTMAN
