Danny Manis Obituary
Danny Michael Manis, age 71, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2024. He was saved at an early age at Richardson's Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Manis; parents, Mason and Lucille Manis; brother, Roger Manis; sisters-in-law, Patsy Manis and Eva Hurd; brothers-in-law, Bazzle Manis, Bill Livesay, David Hurd, and Gary Hurd.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Lester) Jennings; son, Cane (Brandi) Manis; 4 grandchildren, Kathy Jean (Russell) Weatherford, Laura Anne Jennings, Michael Manis, and Jesse Manis; great-grandchild, Noelle Weatherford and another one on the way; sisters, Terry (Homer) Johnson and Faye Livesay; sisters-in-law, Teresa Manis and Susie Osborne; brothers-in-law, Daniel Hurd and Jerald Hurd; several nieces, nephews, and many friends and loved ones.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7pm with Pastor Travis Porterfield and Pastor Daniel Hurd officiating. Graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday in Manis Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
