David Davis Obituary
September 24, 2024
KINGSPORT - David Allen Davis, 55, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, unexpectedly at his residence following a brief illness.
He lived most of his life in Mount Carmel and had lived in Kingsport for the past four years. David was a very hard worker and enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing and hanging out with his friends.
He was preceded by his mother, Norma Walker and stepfather, Jimmy Walker.
Surviving are his father and step mother, Ronnie and Donna Davis; brother, Brad Davis and wife, Rebecca; niece, Sady Davis; nephews, Jacob Davis and Ben Davis; step-nieces, Kaylie Tapia and Madison Tapia; step-nephew, Tristen Tapia: step-sister, Crystal Lawson; step-brother, Bryan Lawson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Pastor Jonathan Lovelace, Denny Linkous, Kelly McClellen, Allen Evans, Charlie Baker and Don Jones.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be Friday, October 11, 2024, from 12 pm to 1 pm at The Promise Church, 115 Hickory Hills Road, Church Hill, TN. 37642. A Celebration of Life Service will follow with Pastor Jonathan Lovelace officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingsport Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 3952, Kingsport, TN 37664 or the charity of the donor's choice.
The care of David Allen Davis and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.

Dave was a friend and boss that I enjoyed working for and also a good friend he had a laugh that I enjoyed hearing and I love to make him laugh, I was blessed to enjoy his friendship
