David Hale Obituary

PINEY FLATS - David C. Hale, 69, of Piney Flats, TN passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
David was a loving husband and a wonderful father.
He was a successful builder along with many different trade skills.
David's happiest moments were with the ones he loved.
In his spare time, David enjoyed watching NASCAR, his UT Vols, working in his yard with his beloved wife, camping with family and friends, and spending the summer months out on the lake.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Hale and Twyla Beck Hale.
Those left to cherish David's memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Jerri Renfro Hale, son, Bryan Hale; and his sister, Leslie Hale.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Travis Pierson officiating.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section B.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to your local Red Cross or Salvation Army.

Wow, so sad and crushed. From the Gastonia race crew. What a loving,kind,funny,friend he was. So many race stories we have. The one thing about Dave was, you knew where his loyalty was. God,Wife,Son,Work. The world is a lot more empty with him gone. Our heart felt condolences to Jerri and Brian.
