Lynda, praying for you and the family in the loss of your dad.
Davis was a dear friend to me. I have so many good memories of our time together at Eastman, and we kept in touch through the years. He was witty but full of wisdom, and he used his long life and good health to help others. He will definitely be missed by his church and community. Goodbye my friend......until we meet again!

Davis was the most friendly greeter to the Senior Center Silver Sneaker Yoga class hosted by Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. A more active or dedicated person to his church and community would be hard to find; a huge hole will be left in the yoga class and his church Colonial Heights United Methodist. He was easy going, gentle, a good listener, with a kind ear and good arm if needed. He got to yoga class early and set up the chairs and communicated the news of the church and community to other members of the class. He sings in the heavenly choir now, Lord, how we miss him!
