DeLana Hayter Obituary

KINGSPORT - DeLana Banks Hayter, "Grammy" age 89, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

DeLana was born in Richmond KY. She was a longtime resident of Kingsport TN. She retired from Grand Piano & Furniture.

She is preceded in death by: Parents Chester & Minerva Banks; Husband Robert (Bob) C. Hayter; Daughter Marla C. Hayter; Brother Bobby Banks

Grammy is survived by: Sons Mark C. Hayter & (Kathy), David C. Hayter & (Jill); Sister-in-law Wanda Banks; Grand Children Robert Ryan Hayter & (Lillie), Mitchell Cody Hayter & (Megan), Sawyer Jane Hayter, Carver Mai Hayter, and Todd Maxfield; Great Grandchildren Trinity, William, Jesse, Allen, and Creek.

Pallbearers will be Sons and Grand Sons.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Hayter's name to American Heart Association.

The Hayter family will receive friends & family Sunday April 16, 2023 from 12 - 2 PM, at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 2 PM on Sunday, and a burial will follow the service in East Lawn Memorial Park in the Everlasting Life III Section.
