Dennis Guy Robinson, age 69, went home to be with Jesus in the early morning hours on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He went home peacefully in his sleep next to his wife of 48 years, Janet Ruth Ely Robinson. He loved to remind everyone that she was his child bride. There is much rejoicing in Heaven even while we grieve here.
Since surrendering his life to the Lord in 1980, his greatest joy was spreading the gospel. Many people know the Lord and His love due to Dennis' tireless pursuit to show Jesus to others. Dennis was proud to have served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Many of you loved Dennis and for that we are truly grateful. We would like to leave you with his famous last words, "Keep Looking To Jesus."
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mason and Lucretia Baxter Robinson; his biological parents, George Columbus Reynolds and Pauline Morris; sister, Nancy Bradley.
In addition to his wife, Janet, Dennis is survived by his step-mother, Evelyn Mae Reynolds; children, Melinda (David) Fields, Tony (Brandy) Robinson, David Ceplinski, Brian (Rebecca) Robinson, Joey (Elisha) Robinson, Denise (Brad) Ols, Rachel Robinson (fiancé, Steve Auman), and Micah (Sarah) Robinson; grandchildren, David Allen (Chassity) McWhirter, Samantha (Nathan) Mauk, Autumn (Patrick) Powers, Gabe, Lyndzey, Madeline, Jacob, Ethan, Michael, Evelyn, and Bear Robinson; great-grandchildren, Shepherd Ray Mauk, and Maeve Alynn McWhirter; sisters, Linda Covan, Diane Johnson, Anita Griffin and Lisa Peterson. All of whom he loved very much.
