Ditte Cooper Obituary
11/04/1942 – 03/22/2024
ENTERPRISE, AL - Ditte Margrethe Cooper of Enterprise, AL passed away at her home on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was 81.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.
A Celebration of Life service will be held April 26, 2024, 5pm at the John Wiley Brock VFW Post 6683, 2615 County Road 537, Enterprise, AL.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her son, Robert Mack Cooper; her parents, Greda and Anker Jensen; her sister, Gurli Cederborg; her husband's parents, Robert Mack and Lady Blevins Cooper; and sister-in-law and her husband, Christine and Larry Frye.
Survivors include her husband, CW4 (Ret.) Robert (Bob) Cooper, Enterprise, AL; son, LTC (Ret.) David E. Cooper (Mellisa), Enterprise, AL; daughter-in-law, Mary Cooper, Alcoa, TN; 3 grandsons: Neill Cooper, Taylor Cooper, and Russ Cooper, Alcoa, TN; a brother, Bengt Petersen (Heidi Nielsen), Copenhagen, Denmark; sister-in-law, Jane Cooper Crawford (Larry), Kingsport, TN; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
The Cooper family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice staff and nurses; Mrs. Cooper's personal caregivers, Wendy Cotton and Kathy Richardson as well as many close friends and neighbors for their love and support during Mrs. Cooper's illness.
