Donna Shepherd Obituary
January 15, 1967 – August 28, 2023
MOUNT CARMEL - Donna K. Shepherd, 56, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2023 in Mt. Carmel, TN after an extended liver illness. She was born on January 15, 1967, in Bristol, Tennessee, to the late Norman and Doris Payne.
Donna was a graduate of Sullivan Central High School and furthered her education at East Tennessee State University.
Donna was a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Holston Valley Hospital for many years.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Norman Payne, her mother, Doris Payne, and her brother, Michael (JoJo) Payne.
She survived her loving husband, Anthony Shepherd, her son, Torrey Edmunds, her brother, Jeff Payne (Linda), and her brother, Norman (Butch) Payne (Tammy) and stepchildren Kristen and Courtney. Also, special friends, April, Christy and Anna.
A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice.
