CHURCH HILL – Donnie Ray "Red Dog" Mann, 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at his residence.

Donnie was born on August 11, 1952, in Kingsport, TN to his parents Melvin and Violet (Horton) Mann. Donnie was a carpenter and retired from Partners Industrial. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many and known to almost everyone as "Red Dog".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie (Thomas) Mann; son, Charles Steven "Steve" Brown; and his brother, Jim Mann.

Donnie is survived by his son, Micheal Brown (Tracy); grandchildren, Jessie Dockery (Brandon), Dakota Brown (Kyli), Dillon Turnmire, and Sarah Turnmire; several greatgrandchildren; special friends, Dennis Dewald and Doug Dewald; as well as many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home with Pastor Truman Ferguson officiating.

I had many happy days and fun times with Red Dog during my teenage years. He was a great guy and a hard worker, never had a harsh word for anyone, my deepest condolences to all his family! Rest High on that Mountain; ole friend!
