E. Moody Obituary

E.G. was a great friend. Always willing to help out. Loved just about anything antique. I sold him the Model A Ford pickup that he restored. God Bless and Happy Trails, Until We Meet Again In Heaven. Mike McIntosh, Model A Mac's, Unicoi Tn.

Chancellor Moody was a great advocate for foster and adoptive children, especially with his annual Farm Fest. He and Mrs. Moody were wonderful and gracious hosts who opened their farm to many local adoptive and foster families annually and providing them a meal, entertainment and a fun day. We all loved and enjoyed this event. He was a dedicated Judge and special person. He will be missed.

One of the best people I have ever known. I loved E.G. Moody and his wife, Mary Frances. What a terrible loss. I send my love and prayers to his family.

So sorry to hear of E.G.´s passing. I always loved him as a child growing up in church. I used to go to their house on Sundays and play with Linda. He was a sweetie with a big heart and will be greatly missed. Great memories. Love you E.G.,

I knew E.G. as a friend, lawyer and Chancellor. He was a great lawyer and Judge! My deepest condolences to his family.

Mr.Moody was a great friend to me an an a real passionate man about his farm cattle and horses as I worked on his farm for him for 25years I will never forget the good times we had an the tuff ones rest in peace my good friend. And Mrs. Moody you are in my thoughts an prayers.

Really appreciate knowing EG over the years with our common interest in horse carriages. Bought a pair of Morgans from him 29 years ago that were shipped to California. Got to know him and Mary Francis better as time went on. Both great people! His beautiful Facebook entries indicate how he appreciated the beauties of God's world. May his soul be blessed-

We became close friends after meeting at a Carriage Association function. We remember back when we were all a bit more "spry" enjoying attending events and visiting. E.G. and Mary Frances are people of faith that live it. We are so thankful for our relationship over the years. We feel blessed to have known and loved them and have been loved by them.

Heaven is an even better place with E.G. there. Mary Frances our prayers are with you.

Mary Frances, we are so sorry to hear of E.G.'s passing. Seems like many of our schoolmates are leaving us. Our prayers will be with you, and all of his family. May God be with you and let His presence be known for comfort and peace.

Great man with a big heart for kids. Visited his farm every year that we had foster kids. They loved being there and we admired him for bringing a little joy in their lives. Rest in peace knowing you made a difference in the world for all.

We knew EG and Mary from them being customers at our restaurant. I was always happy to see them come in. He was a kind, polite, gentleman that always had a smile on his face. Sorry Mary for your loss. He will be deeply missed.

I had the privilege of practicing law with The Honorable E.G. Moody until he was elected Chancellor in 2006.He was my friend and my mentor who's wisdom l value deeply. He will be missed. David Miller

I met EG in 1991 and he immediately made me feel like a close friend. He was always available to answer questions and offer guidance when needed. EG served his community, and everyone should be very proud of what he accomplished over the years. EG, you will be missed by many. RIP Sir

Mr Moody was a kind and honorable man. As a young 8th grade 4-H student he hosted my group in his home and shared so much of his rich knowledge of carriage, harness, and Morgan horses. It gave me so much inspiration and was a cherished memory I have carried with me the rest of my life. My condolences to his family and all who are close to him.
