Edward L. Stewart was born on Thursday, December 22, 1938, in Kingsport, Tennessee, and passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife, Janice K. Stewart; five children, Adrianne and Zeke Farmer and their children, Luca and Trace, Stuart and Sunnie Mae Stewart and their children, Stuart Jr. and Franklin Grant, Ian D Stewart and his wife, Adrienne and their children, Maelin and Liam D, Tyrus Stewart and his son, Tyrus Burke and Joseph "Bart" Stewart and his wife, Rachel and their children, Isaac and Ellie.
Big Ed's family will hold his love, lessons, and memories in their hearts forever.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section W.
A Receiving of Friends will follow from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at 1521 Riverport Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
