KINGSPORT - Ella Jane Fogleman, age 85, of Kingsport, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Ella Jane was born in Kingsport, TN on May 28, 1940 to Marion and Mary Millard. Ella Jane worked for Sullivan County Court System for 40 years. She will be remembered as a fun loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Archie Millard.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Marylynne (Mark) Moody, Lisa (Charles) Hurst, Leslie (Guy) Slagle; grandchildren Joshua (Anita) Fogleman, Hillary Dulaney, Hailey Lytle, Janie (Reed) Alton, Isaac Conkin; several great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport is serving the Fogleman family.

Marylynne, I am out of town and just read Ella Jane´s obituary. She was a good person and a good friend. I enjoyed knowing her and working with her in the court system. Her laugh could brighten any day.

So sorry to learn of Ella Jane's passing, but so grateful to have been able to visit with her a couple of weeks ago. She was a dear friend that I've known since Jr. High, and will certainly be missed. My heart goes out to her family.

So very sorry to hear of Ella Jane´s passing. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to our family. We shared many summer days of laughter over forty four years . Sincere condolences to her girls and extended family.

Ella Jane has been a dear friend since our middle school years. We and 10 other special friends had many wonderful times thru the years. She had an infectious wonderful laugh and was very caring and will be missed.
