Emma Williams Obituary

KINGSPORT, APPALACHIA VA, - Emma S. Williams, age 72, passed into her Lord and Savior's arms on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Emma was a devoted wife, catholic, mother, grandmother and friend. She is known as a pillar and inspiration to her family and those left to carry on her legacy. Emma started this journey of life in the Philippines before meeting and marrying the love of her life Mr. Carl Williams, together they moved to the United States where they built a loving life and family. Moving to the United States as a young family with four in tow they began a life filled with adventure and dedication. Emma took great pride in gardening, taking care of her home, and working at Wal Mart. She enjoyed meeting new people all the time and was always involved in her children and grandchildren's lives. She will be deeply missed, she will be deeply missed by all those that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her parents, Isidro and Aurora, and two sisters, Eva Serrac, Elina Belggira.
Left to cherish her memory: husband, Carl Williams, son Jimmy Serrac and wife Whitney Woodby Serrac, daughter Khristina Lynn WIlliams Jones and husband Cody Jones, son Christopher Allen WIlliams, grandchildren; McKinley Brooke Serrac, Harper Kay Serrac, Kal-el Roberson, Katherine Jones, one brother Ernie Serrac, sister Edna Serrac, several nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
The family of Emma Williams will receive friends for the visitation on Friday, Dec 6, 2024 at Holding Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Big Stone Gap. (17 E. 3rd St. N. Big Stone Gap, VA )
The Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Richie Sarabie officiating.at Holding Funeral Home of Big Stone's Chapel. (17 E. 3rd St. N. Big Stone Gap, VA )
Her burial will be held following in Powell Valley Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Family and Friends.
